Vita Dr. Gisela Thiede

Dr. rer. nat. Gisela Thiede studied Chemistry at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle (Saale), Germany where she received her diploma in Chemistry in 1996. After obtaining her doctorate as Dr. rer. nat. in 2000, she joined a biotechnological company in Halle (Saale) where she worked as a project leader doing research in the field of liposomal drug delivery systems. In 2006, she joined the Center of Experimental and Applied Cutaneous Physiology (CCP) at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology. Her research activities focus on drug delivery systems, skin penetration and follicular penetration. She is responsible for the project management and coordination of the CCP, contract management and clinical trials and regulatory affairs.
